What Actually Happens to Your Skin While You Sleep

Your skin runs on a clock, not just a routine
Skin repair isn't constant throughout the day — it follows your circadian rhythm, the internal 24-hour clock that governs nearly every biological process in your body, skin included. Cell division, blood flow, hormone release, and barrier repair all peak and dip on a schedule, and much of that schedule is tilted toward the hours you're asleep.
